Taking photography life with a grain of salt.

Life happens in soft focus.

If you keep on waiting for everything in life to be in sharp focus,

you will miss out on a lot of living.

 

Only amateurs think everything has to be sharp.

So, I realize that this is both a sensitive and controversial subject

for a lot of photographers and some clients. 

What you see in my galleries, reflects more than just

a great photographer taking textbook perfect shots and

an artist displaying talents and showing only the best.

If you judge me by the photos that you don't like, remember this.

Certainly, all the gorgeous, perfect shots are here.

But some of these shots have a very very deep sentiment, history, meaning, beyond the technical importance of photo taking.

You see, my beautiful, beloved, deceased mom had a lot to do with the beginnings of this photography studio business.

There are shots included in these galleries that brought tears of joy and laughter to my mom and remembering that is priceless. Photos that came from the heart, from the heat of the moment have been included because mom wanted them.

 So if you don't like a photo, feel free to laugh and cry. Then I really have done my job.

But be amazed and in awe of the totally mind blowing, shocking, insanely fabulous, provocative and astounding photos. Feel free to react with astonishment over how did she do that? How did she get that shot? That's the awesomeness of this big hearted photographer who needs to keep the blurred shots that mom loved. Not everything in life is clear and sharp. A lot of life's little moments are blurred and more memorable and important than the big deal sharp moments in time.
