Metal Professional

In 1988 I saw a headhunter who recognized the unique blend of talents that I could bring to the table and took a fourteen-year journey to 2001. Beginning a new career in the metal industry, as sales assistant I quickly grew to be a trader, buyer, broker, seller, contract manager, traffic manager, credit collections manager, networker, all around go-to person in the industry, known for a talent at networking, requisitioning and bringing people together. Raw materials, mostly non-ferrous took on a whole new meaning as I learned somehow metal touches every walk of life on this planet. It was here where I truly found my humanitarianism. I honed the art of trading, brokering, buying and selling, but my course of action was always, as a lover of world peace, to use my position in the raw materials trading world to pave new paths for trade, to bring people together. I was often known as the go-to person for fair, decent, honest procurement, quotation and delivery and could find nearly anything. I traded and brokered, bought and sold with the heart of a visionary designer. I prided myself in wielding the art of peace relations among many cultures, often crossing the cultural, language and religious barriers to succeed in doing the best possible job for my customers, my following. The work I’ve done in the trade world will live on forever, having instilled ongoing contracts for repairing the remnants of war, plans for restoration in the wake of natural disaster, long term military efforts, erecting buildings, ships, factories, making prototypes, negotiating mergers and collaborations, team work and collective projects between military and defense contractors, all for the ongoing safety, protection and peace of this earth.

Working, after a long sabbatical ,involved with family responsibilities, keeping company with and care of senior family after deaths in family and elderly family death.

I returned home to Florida to accompany, stay with , elderly family in 2002 and started shooting again.

I’ve lived here many years. I came here for a temporary stay and stayed.

Twelve years I watched after my elderly grandma and depressed mother. Grandma lived with us until the age of 97, and my mom suffered serious depression until she died of cancer Christmas Eve-eve 2014.

I started my life new again as a pro photographer.

Three and half years later I opened my photography studio, officially, open to the public . 

Studio building began in 2015, remodeled in 2018,

Studio physical location in business since 2017.

I had been a professional photographer before.

I've sold photography online. My photography websites have been entertaining people online for years.

 In 2015 I began publishing books and audible musical books on Amazon, iTunes and online stores.

I had been a professional photographer in the 1980’s. 

Back to basics. Recap:  In 1983 I brought photography skills and management education to my new career as a pioneer in the one-hour photo lab business. I walked into a lab with no management or supervision and worked closely with the owners to complete Noritsu school. I got a valuable photography education on the job. I shared the lab responsibilities with another uniquely qualified photographer who implemented the old-school style dark room, and custom processing facility to the modern photo lab.

I studied the arts & communications in college and worked as a photographer in my 20's then moved on to other careers which gave me phenomenal life & business experience, including the beauty industry, advertising ,executive experience, trading, brokering ,buying experience and more, but moving up the corporate ladder seemed to result in moving to another industry, so, I left the arts behind , until I returned home.

Pro Photographer.

I began building the physical studio in my home in 2015 after my mom was diagnosed with cancer and passed away , only a few months later, suddenly on Christmas eve-eve 2014.

Sunsets were my mom's greatest passion. After grandma passed away, mom and I planned on starting the studio together, after she was feeling better ,but our plan ended abruptly with her death. We hoped to bring all the lovely people of Central Florida into our beautiful home studio to service all their photography needs, and do some traveling too.

Meanwhile, I have enjoyed life in Florida. 

I made a lot of new friends.

     

 

Restaurant

1980-1983, 2001-2002 I have been a restaurant manager trainee and manager several times but couldn’t stand up on my feet fourteen hours a day or carry the big trays. I tried numerous times to get back into it, only failing to endure the physical demands of restaurant work. I loved the restaurant business. The early experience was a valuable asset that I brought to the beauty supply industry, my next endeavor, which utilized my skills, experience, catering, managing, artistic talents, photography, design education and writing advertising.

It began n 1984.  I worked as a salon assistant manager, reception desk manager, booking stylist appointments, purchasing, and assistant to the coiffure’s guild president, a salon owner, a great teacher, mentor, and politician. He taught me a lot.

In 1985 I was granted a distinct privilege.

I graduated

to working in a large metropolitan east coast beauty supply company.

I learned the ropes fast, product knowledge and usage, in-store sales, customer service, telemarketing, outside sales. Eventually I was granted the unique position that utilized what I brought to the table, all my talents, as a photographer, visionary designer, creative designer, graphic designer, advertising representative, copy writer, manager, organizer and networking specialist, researching, connecting people, recruiting, promoting, marketing, catering, booking venues and assisting the sales manager and VP with trade show management. There as director of education I helped them take beauty product distribution to a new level. We provided continuing education to cosmetology professionals , workshops and seminars, teaching usage and technique, philosophy and management .

with all the manufacturers .

We taught the whole industry how to be better.
