The world famous Iron Horse Saloon has been a popular destination for bikers for decades. They come from near and far. Whether you're a hardcore biker riding the iron horse or a mere civilian spectator who enjoys observing the sport, it's a delightful destination for great food and drink and music and good people. If you are a mere observer whose heart goes pitter patter when you hear the vroom vroom then get there early and watch as they roll in. The Iron Horse Saloon is a Florida icon. Tourists and bikers come from near and far to spend their leisure time mingling with bikers, looking at bikes ,eating and drinking and listening to music and having a great time. Awesome place to shoot! The famous trees ,home of the tree house bar ,provided fabulous light and shadow. It was somewhat intermittently windy, I only wish it had been breezier. I especially love shooting black & white on windy days, the light and shadow bouncing all over the place. The blazing , blinding sun and blue skies made for shooting delightful photojournalistic style contrasty shots as well as providing well lighted shadows in the underneath areas of the balconies and canopies. I got some really great deeply detailed contrast shots as well as the light and airy, which was the general mood of the day.
