heads up - Drone owners . SET YOUR PASSWORD AND EMAIL AND WHILE YOU ARE NEAR THE INTERNET, BE SURE THE APP OPENS.

THE NEW UPDATE REQUIRES A NEW ONCE -OFF LOGIN WITH EMAIL AND PASSWORD.

Don't get stuck in the middle of nowhere without internet , only to find out that an auto update happened, Before you fly, get close to an internet ,update your app and password and be sure the app can open without internet before you go way out there.

We tried to fly Easter Sunday,after the rain cleared, as usual we set up , opened the app and it refused us access without email and password which required internet connection to LOG IN ! DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

FORTUNATELY WE WERE NOT AT A PAYING JOB AT THE TIME.IT TOOK US TWO HOURS TO GET UP AND RUNNING, THEN IT WAS TOO DARK.

Required login when Internet is not available

Q: So my question is, how do you bypass DJI's login screen on GO 4 when you're in an area without Internet access, making it impossible to login? I'm concerned this is going to be a repeating issue when there are times I'm 100 miles from Internet access and I can't drive a 200 mile round trip just to login to use GO 4.

A: I believe what may have happened is your phone has auto updated from the apps store to the new 4.1.0 version of GO4. This requires a once off log in on first launch of the software as has been the subject of many discussions. You should not have any more such issues, to test, exit GO4 and put your phone into airplane mode, then start the program and you should be good to go.https://forum.dji.com/thread-98292-1-1.html
